Preparing for Bodhi - a natural approach to birthing and raising a child.
With the birth of our son Bodhi imminent (mid-August) Runi and I are in full swing preparing for his arrival. We have the birthing pool setup for a gentle home water birth (if existence cooperates with our plans:-) It is a very exciting time and Runi is looking so radiant. Our plan is to raise Bodhi exclusively on breast milk for the first few months and then on a predominantly plant based whole and living food diet. We will be documenting and reporting our progress as we go as this is wonderful opportunity to learn what is possible by raising a child in a loving and truly nourishing environment. My other children (born 23 annd 20 years ago) didn't have this opportunity, though they are both doing well now (see Ishka's video below)

David Wolfe's Grounders (Earthing Thongs) in stock now
We have just received the first Australian shipment of David Wolfe's "Grounders" AKA Earthing Thongs.

Recipe - Hempomoli
This is a new recipe we came up with - it is so delicous and very satisfying!
Tools: a food processor
Ingredients:
4-5 medium sized ripe avocados
1/2 a red capsicum
2 medium sized tomatoes
1 spring onion stalk
1 handful of garlic chives
1 cup of hemp nuts (Not for human consumption in Australia)
1/2 a cup of dried tomatoes (we dry our own in our Excalibur dehydrator)
I handful of fresh herbs - we use basil, dill, coriander and oregano from the garden.
1 lemon juiced
1 tsp of sea salt
Directions:
Process all ingredients in the food processor until mostly smooth.
Serve and enjoy with your favourite Kitz crackers and salad!
