Tumeric Tea Recipe

Turmeric tea is a popular beverage throughout Asia and is known by some as “liquid gold.” This rich creamy and lightly sweet beverage is something you’re sure to enjoy!

Serves 4


2 cups of mylk of choice
1 teaspoon turmeric (powder or grated root)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of black pepper (increases the active ingredient curcumin's absorption)
1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
Raw honey or maple syrup (to taste optional)

1. Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth.
2. Pour into a small sauce pan and heat for 3-5 minutes over medium heat until hot.
