Why are we offering a non-raw sweetener?
Coconut sugar is less processed than agave and contains much lower levels of fructose as well as being very high in minerals and low GI. In our opinion it is most likely a healthier option than agave, despite being heated.

Producing 50 – 75% more sugar per acre than cane sugar while using less than 1/5th the nutrient resources, the World Bank's FAO contends that it's the single most sustainable sweetener in the world!!

In addition, it proteins (12 amino acids) and comparatively high mineralization including potassium, magnesium, phosphorous, zinc and iron.

Coconut Sugar can be used 1:1 as a replacement for cane sugar in any recipe. It's suitable for baking, and makes a great addition to tea and coffee.
