We have called this particular bar our light chocolate because it has a lower cacao content than the other bars and is therefore not as intense.
The lucuma powder comes from the lucuma fruit, which is one of the sapote family and has a creamy citrusy flavour. It is high in Vitamin C, niacin (B3) and iron.
The maca powder has a slightly bitter, nutty caramelly flavour and is high in protein and minerals.
These two flavours combined give the bar a distinctively sweet, caramelly nutty flavour. This is one of our favourite bars at the moment - perhaps because we can eat more of this particular flavour in one sitting than we can of the other flavours.
